Radio terms:VHF - primarily used for outdoor applications UHF -primarily used for indoor/outdoor applications between steel and concrete structures Compatibility - RDX Series radios are backwards compatible with XTN, CLS, AX, Spirit, HP, M-Series, etc. These radios are easily programmed to match other Motorola Radius, Kenwood, or Jobcomm radios.
Battery Life - Li-Ion rechargeable battery lasts up to 12 hours on 2 W and 18.5 hours on hi-power
