Radio terms:VHF/MURS - primarily used for outdoor applications UHF - primarily used for indoor/outdoor applications between steel and concrete structures Compatibility - RDX Series radios are backwards compatible with XTN, CLS, AX, Spirit, HP, M-Series, etc. These radios are easily programmed to match other Motorola Radius, Kenwood, or Jobcomm radios.
