- Timken hygienic bearings rated for IP69K are specifically engineered to perform in food and beverage applications where high-pressure washdowns, high humidity and excessive temperature differences exist. Timken achieves IP69K rating without a sealed end-cover. To meet the IP69K rating, our bearings did not allow any water or dust past the seal during the aggressive tests. With Timken, lubrication stays inside the bearing through food grade grease or solid lube options. With these solutions, there’s no need to re-grease, resulting in minimal maintenance to the bearing.
- The ball inserts (rings, balls, cage) are fully stainless making them fully metal detectable and corrosion resistant. Our IP69K insert is available in combination with four different housing materials including standard cast stainless, white thermoplastic, hygienic stainless and hygienic blue thermoset housing material. The product line is available with set screw locking and offers thousands of housing combinations including custom options designed to fit any food and beverage application need. Our products fit shaft sizes from 20mm to 50mm and 3/4 in. to 2 in..
