Sealmaster^® SS Gold™ Mounted Bearings feature a stainless steel insert and a multiple lip high performance seal. Specifically engineered for industries with corrosive wash down environments such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and chemical processing. The SS Gold mounted ball bearings provide outstanding performance in demanding corrosive environments. 

End caps available: Polypropylene and stainless steel materials are corrosion resistant. Connects directly into housing for easy installation. Shielded drain holes minimizes moisture buildup.

Stainless Steel Housings & Inserts: 
• Machined solid base helps to reduce entrapment points.
• Investment cast minimizes pitting, providing a smooth easy to clean surface.
• 316 passivated stainless steel provides the highest amount of corrosion resistance currently available for stainless steel bearing housings.
• 440C inner and outer rings to provide good load capacity and corrosion resistance for a wide range of applications and chemicals.
• Inner ring is annealed by set screws to reduce potential for cracking.

IP69K Certified:
• Superior durability that can withstand the toughest Food and Beverage environments.
• Enclosures conforming to an IP69K rating must not only be dust-tight, but also able to withstand high pressure and steam cleaning.
• These high performance components are proven to provide durability, longer life, as well as corrosion and contamination resistance in extreme washdown environments. 

High Performance Seal (HPS):
• Triple lip contact seal design provides multi-directional sealing to minimize contamination ingress and retain lubricant.
• Highly durable, FKM seal lip material provides good chemical resistance and can withstand high temperatures.
• 304 stainless steel shell protects bearing and components from incoming contaminants.
• 304 stainless steel rotating flinger provides a corrosion resistant wear surface for all three lips and shields seal from contamination.

Back Side Shields Available
• Nitrile rubber gaskets reduce bearing moisture contact.
• 304 stainless plates improve assembly strength.
• Drain slots reduce moisture buildup.
