Founded in 1878 as Chicago Rawhide, CR Seals has one of the longest histories in the seal industry. For the last 110+ years, CR Seals has been setting performance and service life standards for industrial and automotive shaft seals. CR Seals has also been part of SKF since 1990, a span during which we’ve developed new materials, manufacturing processes and designs to create some of the most robust seals on the market. CR Seals and technologies, include SKF Wave, SKF Edge and SKF Flex seals. Ultimately, seals are a core SKF technology, as they contribute to our vision of a world of reliable rotation and help us differentiate our position as the undisputed leader of the bearing industry.
