- LOCTITE® LB 8700 is a gray, smooth thread lubricant paste formulated from molybdenum disulfide and petrolatum. Can be used on machine threads, tapered pipe threads, for press-fit and slip-fit joints. It is used in applications with an operating range of -20.2 °F to +748.4 °F (-29 °C to +398 °C). It has been tested to meet Military Specification MIL-PRF-83483 (This is a regional approval).
