- Type 27 depressed center aluminum oxide grinding wheels are strong and tough. Reinforced with fiberglass they resist breaking from twisting, starting torque and lateral pressures. This semiflexible grinding disc is best suited for medium finish metal applications. For easiest disc removal use with flange 49-05-0041 and flange nut 49-05-0050 (1/2-13) or 49-05-0051 (5/8-11) depending on the spindle of the grinder being used.
