• The additional layer of Nomex® Nano Flex to PIP's Particle Barrier Hood, 906-PBH stops up to 95% of submicron particles in the face and neck area that historically are known to be the most vulnerable and least protected. The result is up to 4X INCREASE IN PARTICLE BARRIER EFFICIENCY.The combination of Nomex Nano Flex and an FR knit material in a the 906-PBH Firefighter Hood results in a 25% improvement in Thermal Protection Performance (TPP) compared to an FR knit material alone.
