- HE filter material consists of a filter that uses a unique pleated media instead of a more common canvas construction. This increases the filter surface area by 450% compared to the normal cloth filter and almost 200% compared to the traditional pleated element. Pleated media also reduces the speed of air flow within the system, further improving filtration.
