- The preset regulator can be installed in any compressed air system. It provides an exact, even output pressure, regardless of the input pressure. The pressure is preset and cannot be changed. The regulator prevents "dynamic pressure loss". This occurs when pressure and flow at the point of disconnection are unnecessarily higher than the data specified by the manufacturer to accomplish the desired function. Dynamic pressure loss" is a significant and extremely costly waste of energy.
