• For use on rubber-covered service wires such as high strength drop wire, distributing frame wire and switchboard wire
• 0.042/0.047" skinning hole is provided for removing the rubber insulation of service wires
• Two are also provided with a second 0.027/0.032" skinning hole for removing the conductor covering of 22 gage station wire and F cross connect wire
• V shaped notches are provided on the edges of the plier's jaw for use in skinning PVC insulated wire
• There is a flat area with serrations between the handles below the joint for crushing insulation
• The pliers are available with or without an aluminum oxide insulation coating on the outside nose surface 5/8" from the tip
