- LOCTITE® 2422 is a blue, thixotropic, medium strength, dual cure, dimethacrylate ester acrylic threadlocking paste designed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners requiring normal disassembly with standard hand tools. It is particularly suitable for applications on less active substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces, where disassembly with hand tools is required for servicing.
