- LOCTITE® 5408 is charcoal gray, fluorescent, dimethacrylate ester acrylic anaerobic hybrid threadlocker gel that lubricates fasteners during assembly and seals gaps between threads. It locks the bolts in order to prevent premature loosening and, should the assembly need to be taken apart in the future, acts as a lubricant to ease the removal of fasteners that are through holes into water jackets.
