- LOCTITE® LB 8504 is a dark gray, thread lubricant anti-seize formulated from synthetic graphite and petrolatum. It is a non-metallic lubricant but shows good electrical conductivity in metal-to-metal joints. Used on machine threads, tapered pipe threads, press-fit and slip-fit joints, it has a typical operating range of -20.2 °F to +899.6 °F (-29 °C to +482 °C).
