• Body Hammers are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and have tempered heads. They have a burnt lacquer finish, Grade B (or better), and Hickory wooden handles or cushion grip fiberglass handles. The hammer was one of the basic hand tools around which the body and fender repair trade was developed. The pick hammer is lightweight and provides stubby pick point and high-crown peen-type faces. It will ding out small dents in high fins. There is no need to remove panels. Long reach, 18” handle.
