description

  • The nonmetallic bearing is Morse's answer to the need for a marine bearing that checks electrolytic corrosion of metal-hulled boats while retaining the advantages of a rubber bearing. The shell used in nonmetallic bearings provides corrosion and chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and weight advantage combined with the dependable rubber liner used in other Morse marine bearings. Nonmetallic bearings operate in any water-based liquids, most chemicals, and petro products. Operating temperatures range from 39 °F to 158 °F, 4 °C to 70 °C. Normal loading capacity up to 35 psi, 0.0246 kg per sq mm. Shaft is cushioned by continuous flow of 2 gallons/in
  • 7.5 L/22 mm of shaft diameter/min through the bearing.

features

  • Sleeve bearings with nonmetallic outer shell super-bonded to a fluted rubber bearing surface
  • Stocked in 72 sizes from 3/4" through 6" shaft diameters
