- Type 27 depressed center zirconium grain grinding wheels have a tough self-sharpening grain with superior stock removal. They can be used in the toughest metal grinding applications for fast efficient stock removal but requires medium to heavy operator pressure for optimum performance. For easiest disc removal use flange 49-05-0041 and flange nut 49-05-0050 (1/2-13) or 49-05-0051 (5/8-11) depending on the spindle of the grinder being used.
