- Type ASB shaft blocks, manufactured from high strength extruded aluminum, provides either end or intermittent support in applications where loads are light and deflection between supports is minimal. The blocks are designed with a reference edge on one side of the base. This provides a surface parallel to the center of the shaft within ± .001" that can be used to simplify shaft alignment.
