- LOCTITE® SI 5049 is a clear, smooth, thixotropic, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) acetoxy silicone paste which creates a tough, watertight, mildew-resistant seal for potting, sealing or coating applications. It withstands temperature extremes of -29.2 °F to +399.2 °F (-34 °C to +204 °C) and forms a weatherproof bond to materials such as glass, ceramics, aluminum, primed steel and some plastics.
