The frame is manufactured using a nickel-silver construction for strength and durability. The optinal clip-on frame, which simply snaps into place, may be fitted with various tinted lenses for indoor-outdoor adaptability. The Tahoe® frame may also be fitted with prescription lenses, the clip-on serving as extra protection. Optional wire-mesh and plastic sup sideshields provide maximum protection.
