Bevel Gears are similar to Miter Gears except Bevel Gears are used for 1.5:1 to 6:1 ratios. Straight tooth Bevel Gears are cut with a generated “Coniflex” tooth form providing increased life and quieter operating conditions. Spiral tooth Bevel Gears are better suited for higher speeds and high torque applications.
