- Radial shaft seals are used between rotating and stationary machine components, or between components in relative motion. HMSA10 seals are designed with a rubber outside diameter. They have a conventional sealing lip made of elastomer. A garter spring in the seal and a non-contacting auxiliary lip optimize the sealing against the shaft also in polluted environment.

- For optimum use in applications lubricated with oil or grease in temperatures from -40 to 100 °C (-40 to 212 °F), short-term up to 120 °C (248 °F).
- For sealing lubricants within a wide range of viscosities
- Recommended in applications with increased demand on protection of primary lip
